is sniffitzt safe?

sniffitzt acts as proxy [1] in short, it means that sniffitzt just takes the packages from your client and forwards them to the server, or takes packets from the server and sends them to your client

and sniffitzt just saves the received packets for later reviewing/processing so blizzard can't detect sniffitzt only through looking at the packets, because sniffitzt never changes any of them..

possible ways to get detected

finding the processname

if you run sniffitzt on the same computer with which you start wow, the processname can be found through tools (currently only blizzard can detect you with warden which sends all currently running processnames to blizzard.. and if they classify sniffitzt as cheattool you are busted (: ) but you also can run sniffitzt just on a different computer or maybe you find a way to stealth the process from warden/any other anti-cheat tool

7 whispers to another player

this is more theoretical: to determine the sessionkey you have to whisper someone 7 times with the same message but i think in wow enough players just send 7 times lololol to someone without using this proxy :)

conclusion:

if you run it on a different computer it's 98% save else it may be a bit risky but, because i never heared something bad, i don't think it's a problem
