Secure Remote Command Execution

SRCE is a tiny, lightweight interconnect that facilitates secure automation on vast farms of GNU Linux computers and appliances. SRCE uses its own double random handshake secured by Blowfish. Blowfish sessions also feature double random security, a new secret is established on every connection. No public key is used, however host verification is established with the second part of the handshake. It features built in tcp wrappers, remote execution, encrypted file transfers and a reboot mechanism. Due to its micro size and engineering, srce will remain responsive even when most other services have failed. SRCE is designed to be used in lieu of password-less SSH operations for automation tasks, or to abstract certain parts of a GNU operating system and make them a service. SRCE is mature, very well documented and in wide use. Because it uses its own functions, it does not rely on any specific kernel or glibc version to work. The service is completely non blocking, making distributed and parallel execution possible. All parts of SRCE reside in userspace.
